Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Participate in The 2008 Women’s Conference

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to Long Beach, California on October 22 to participate in The 2008 Women’s Conference. 

Hosted by California First Lady Maria Shriver, The Women’s Conference will bring together over 50 internationally-renowned leaders and 14,000 participants with the theme of empowering and inspiring women to become architects of change.

Press can register for the event by faxing a copy of their business card with name, media outlet and title along with a copy of a government issued ID to (310) 205-2760 to the attention of Kaity Gonzalez. Press Registration will close on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 5 pm.
