OSHA to Participate in New York City Construction Safety Week, May 2 -7

NEW YORK -- The U.S. Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will join with the New York City Department of Buildings and other partners to provide safety training seminars during Construction Safety Week, May 2 - 7.

To kick off the week, Monday, May 2, OSHA's Manhattan Area Office Director Richard Mendelson, will present an excavation safety symposium at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. He will be joined by Robert Magee, a safety specialist from OSHA's New York Regional Office.
