ATTORNEY GENERAL RENO TO DISCUSS CYBERCRIME

ISSUES WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LEADERS


WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will meet with law enforcement representatives and senior executives from the information technology industry on Monday, June 19, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Attorney General will address how law enforcement and members of the information technology industry can increase cooperation to prevent, detect, and investigate cybercrime.

This summit is a follow-up to a summit held on the West Coast at Stanford University in April, 2000. The Information Technology Association of American (ITAA) will hold this summit at EDS, a Virginia-based information technology company.
