John P. Walters is the Director of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)—sworn
in on December 7, 2001. As the Nation's "Drug Czar," Director Walters
coordinates all aspects of Federal drug control programs and spending. More

Deputy Director
Scott Burns, Deputy Director of ONDCP
Scott Burns was nominated by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed
by the United States Senate in December 2007 to serve as the Deputy Director,
White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. Prior to that, Mr. Burns
served as Deputy Director for State, Local and Tribal Affairs following Senate
confirmation in April, 2002. More

Patrick M. Ward, Acting Deputy Director for Supply Reduction
Mr. Ward was appointed to the Senior Executive Service as the Assistant Deputy
Director for Supply Reduction in the Office of National Drug Control Policy on
September 19th 2005. On December 10th, 2007 he was appointed as the United States
Interdiction Coordinator and assumed the role of Acting Deputy Director. More
