CAUTION

An unknown male suspect, dubbed the Paint by Numbers Bandit, is being sought in connection with at least three bank robberies in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, between February and March of 2007. In each robbery, the suspect approaches the teller counter wearing a coat and gloves. Once at the teller counter, he presents a demand note stating something similar to "Put the money in the bag. I have a gun." During two of the robberies, the suspect opened his coat to display a handgun.

During each robbery, the suspect has worn the same black coat with red stripes, apparently splattered with white paint (hence the nickname). He typically wears a dark shirt, work pants, dark gloves, and a baseball cap.
