The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force Arrests Homicide Suspect, Herlinda Rodulfo
 
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force LogoSan Antonio, TX – United States Marshals Service (USMS) sponsored Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) partner agency, the Bexar County Sheriffs Office, arrested Rodulfo today at a residence located on the 400 block of Pace in San Antonio.

Herlinda Rodulfo is suspected of causing the death of a young female victim in the Baltimore, Maryland area. On May 17, 2008, Rodulfo is suspected of utilizing a firearm and shooting the victim resulting in her death. The Baltimore U.S. Marshals office and the Baltimore Police Department developed information that Rodulfo had fled the Baltimore area and was believed to be with family members in San Antonio. Baltimore U.S. Marshals and the Baltimore Police requested the assistance of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force with locating and apprehending Rodulfo in the San Antonio area.

Members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force conducted an investigation and combed the streets of San Antonio searching for Rodulfo. Information was developed that Rodulfo had been in San Antonio for about a week and had been spotted at various times on the west side of town. Wanted Posters of Rodulfo were distributed to the Sheriffs Deputies and San Antonio Police Officers responsible for that area. Alert and vigilant Sheriffs Deputies located and arrested Rodulfo based on information provided by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Rodulfo has been booked into the Bexar County Jail and is awaiting extradition to the Baltimore area.

The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette Collins said “Our network of fugitive task forces have once again proved their worth. This was just another in a long line of dangerous fugitives taken off of the streets of our communities by our teams.”
