Lucio, MLFTF Coordinator (225) 620-4561   Task Force Arrest, Middle District of Louisiana   On 4/17/08, investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force arrested Richard C. Lockett. Lockett was wanted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for Attempted 1st Degree Murder in connection with a February 2, 2008 incident. Lockett is accused of shooting the victim during an attempted robbery outside the victim’s residence. The MLFTF developed information that Lockett was staying in the Geismer, Louisiana area and established surveillance. Investigators observed a subject matching the description of Lockett, positively identified him, and took him into custody without incident.
