U.S. Marshals Assist in Capture of Major Fugitive
 
Zarumin Colman (Captured)Indianapolis, IN - District U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) personnel, USMS task force personnel, and Electronic Surveillance Unit (ESU) personnel assisted the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in arresting Zarumin Coleman, age 21, at approximately 12:30P.M.. Coleman was arrested on outstanding warrants charging him with Escape, Robbery, and Criminal Confinement. More importantly, Coleman is also a significant “person of interest” in a quadruple homicide which occurred this past Monday.

On Monday, January 14th, unknown persons murdered 2 young mothers, and then murdered a 4 month old and a 23 month old child. USMS personnel having been working almost non-stop in this joint effort with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department since the victims were found. The murders have shaken the community, which resulted in an unprecedented manhunt by the law enforcement community in Indianapolis.

Earlier in the investigation, USMS personnel assisted in the arrest of Tommy Warren, who is believed to have been the driver in these homicides.

On January 19, 2008 the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and USMS personnel (ESU), District DUSM’s, and Task Force Officers arrested another person of interest (Dontae Hobson) in the quadruple homicide.
