Courtroom Etiquette
Please arrive
at least a half hour prior to the scheduled hearing so that you can be processed
into the facility on time.
Immigration
Court hearings may not be used to contact inmates in violation of NYSDOCS visitation
policies.� Persons attending hearings
will not be permitted to have physical contact of any kind, nor private visitation
time, with an inmate in the courtroom.
No
talking in the courtroom unless you have been called upon by the judge.
Attorneys may request to appear telephonically for master calendar hearings.� Such requests should be submitted in writing at least ten days prior to the hearing.� �Attorneys not available when called for telephonic appearances will forfeit that privilege for future hearings.
