The San Pedro (SPD) Immigration Court has suspended hearings at that location
due to the recent temporary closure of the DHS detention facility. Case inquiries
and filings can be made directly with SPD Immigration Court until close of business,
Friday, November 9, 2007.
Beginning on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, all court operations will be moved to the Los Angeles (LOS) Immigration Court. Any subsequent SPD filing or inquiry should clearly be marked as a San Pedro case and addressed as follows: Attention: San Pedro Immigration Court, 606 S. Olive Street, 15th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90014. The telephone number for inquiries will be (213) 894-2811 and all callers should state that they are calling about a San Pedro case. Individuals should continue to monitor the EOIR website for any further updates.
The San Pedro Immigration Court has jurisdiction for cases of detained aliens housed exclusively at the Santa Ana City Jail. Those cases are heard at the Federal Building located at 300 No. Los Angeles Street, Room 8549, Los Angeles, CA 90012; however, all filings for these Santa Ana City Jail cases must be addressed, ATTN: San Pedro Immigration Court, and delivered to the 606 S. Olive Street, 15th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90014 address.
