This coloring book applet may take a couple of minutes to load, but it's worth waiting for.
To begin coloring click on any of the coloring book titles on the main menu picture, such as Crash, Vince and Larry, Carseat or Air Bags.
At the coloring screen, use your mouse to pick the color you wish to use from the paint box by putting the mouse pointer over the color and clicking with the left mouse button. The tip of the paintbrush should turn the same color as the paint you choose from the paint box. Use your mouse to click on the areas of the picture you wish to make that color. To change colors just pick a new one from the paint box.
You can use the mixing area of the paint box to make colors that are different from the ones already there. Let's try it together!
- Choose a coloring book from the list on the Cyberstudio main picture.
- Double click on the red paint. The large circle next to the paint brush and the tip of the paint brush should turn red. If not try double clicking again.
- Click ONCE on the yellow paint. The tip of the paint brush should turn yellow, but not the mixing circle next to it.
- Now click on the tip of the paint brush. The mixing circle should begin to slowly change color, becoming more orange as you click.
- If you would like to paint with this new color, click once on the mixing circle. The tip of the brush should change to the mixed color.
Each coloring book has three different pictures in it. To change the picture click on the arrows in the bottom left hand corner of the applet, next to the paint box and above the "menu" button. Sometimes these buttons don't load, but they are there. Just point the mouse over them and they'll appear.
To return to the list of coloring books at any time just click on the "Menu" in the bottom left corner of the applet and it will take you back to the begining applet screen.
