Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc.

ITCA promotes Native American self-reliance through public policy development. ITCA is comprised of 19 tribal governments and is a nonprofit, educational, and charitable organization. One branch of ITCA is the Environmental and Natural Resources Program. This program helps tribes with funding and technical assistance for preparation of integrated solid waste management plans and assists them with other waste and environmental protection issues.  ITEC’s mission is to is to protect the health of Native Americans, their natural resources and their environment as it relates to air, land and water.

The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) is a federal advisory committee that was established by charter on September 30, 1993, to provide independent advice, consultation, and recommendations to the adminisrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on matters related to environmental justice.
Tribal Solid Waste Advisory Network

TSWAN - A consortium of ten tribes in the Pacific Northwest who collectively explore innovative waste management techniques and advocate responsible sold waste management for all Native Americans. Recently, TSWAN received a solid waste grant from Region 10 to develop an integrated solid waste management (ISWN) plan for the participating tribes.
