Secretary Spellings announced final Title I regulations to strengthen the No Child Left Behind Act on October 28, 2008. The regulations focus on improved accountability and transparency, uniform and disaggregated graduation rates, and improved parental notification for Supplemental Education Services and public school choice. The regulations were published in the Federal Register on October 29, 2008.
