Save A Watt
Save A Watt (SAW) was developed in January 2002 as a marketing campaign funded by both public and private resources.
The mission of SAW is to motivate consumers and business owners to adopt long-term energy efficient behaviors, such as using programmable thermostats. In addition, the campaign encourages people to consider energy efficiency when buying appliances, computers, and even homes.
The SAW team produced a free utility co-marketing kit.* The kit includes:
- Cover note describing how to use the contents
- SAW character artwork
- Energy efficiency tips for newsletters and local publications
- SAW advertisement (three formats)
- SAW bill stuffer
Follow the links below to learn more about SAW, to view SAW materials, or to reserve the SAW "character" masks and costumes to use at energy events.*
