Classes in a Box

Classes in a Box includes three CDs with lesson plans for children kindergarten through 12th grade, a classroom banner and a CFL comparison wheel. Each CD has information on energy efficiency and renewables.

Classes in a Box Inside the tool kit you'll find:
  • Get Smart About Energy is the DOE-created CD with 250 unique lesson plans for grades K-12.
  • Oregon Teacher K-12 Energy Resource covers lesson plans specifically on solar energy.
  • Save a Watt banner for the classroom
  • Compact Fluorescent Lights Comparison Wheel
  • Dry weather Lesson Plan describes why energy efficiency should be encouraged during dry weather conditions. A precipitation shortage puts upward pressure on the cost of power and energy efficiency allows all citizens to participate to offset that pressure.
