FISAP Webinar

Federal Student Aid will be conducting instructor-led online training on the Fiscal Operations Report and Application (FISAP). Topics will include information on the FISAP, essential information on each part of the application as well as other details for each section, and the most common errors which occur on the report. It will be followed by a question and answer period conducted by subject matter experts.

2007-08 FSA Assessments Training

Federal Student Aid has a comprehensive tool that schools can use to ensure Title IV compliance and program integrity. The FSA Assessments provide schools with a system of evaluating program compliance as well as opportunities to correct problems.

The 2007-08 FSA Assessments training is now available. You will need to download the PowerPoint presentation before the training so that you can use it while viewing the recorded session.

Federal Student Aid has designed these management assessment modules in collaboration with financial aid professionals to help schools enhance their services. Return of Title IV Funds Software

This training is aimed at intermediate level users of the Federal Student Aid's online systems such as FAA Access to CPS Online. It is is designed to show how to properly configure the R2T4 tool for your institution's needs. We will also cover the various reporting features of the R2T4 software.

Each training session will be conducted by two federal trainers and will last one hour and thirty minutes. The sessions will provide hands-on exercises in using FAA Access to CPS Online along with supplemental study materials that can be downloaded from the Web. During the session you will be able to interact with the instructors using your computer keyboard.

Participants will be required to download the training materials prior to the session. The download link will be provided in your registration confirmation.

Applicant Data Resolution

We are pleased to announce the Podcast availability of our recent 2007-08 instructor-led online training on applicant data resolution. The three Podcasts are condensed versions of the ADR training and are approximately 12 minutes in length. Each Podcast will provide a quick refresher or basic introduction visual and auditory tour of how to use our Web-based systems such as FAA Access to CPS On-line to resolve student application rejects, common (and not so common) student eligibility issues, and how to access other important services. COD Computer-Based Training (Downloadable PC software)

Self-paced training in eight sessions that will guide you through each area of the COD system. It simulates the COD web screens and functions. Explores the basic navigation and functions of the COD website and provides practice creating and retrieving information with feedback to help the learner. The program uses fictitious data for over 600 persons and 20 schools that offer a wide range of scenarios.

The program requires a Windows 98 or higher operating system with an ODBC driver for Microsoft Access 2000. Your screen resolution should be set to 1024 x 768 or higher.

EDExpress Basics: A Web-based Tutorial (final version, includes ADA-compatible version)

Self-paced training that teaches basic skills required to access and navigate the EDExpress and EDconnect software. A beginning user learns the functionality and practices using the software in a simulated environment. This product is strongly recommended before attending the instructor-led EDExpress training online. We are pleased to announce the release of the third and fourth modules of EDExpress Basics. The third module covers Pell grant and Direct loan processing functions. We have also added the Section 508 ADA-compatible version of the training.

Recommended for financial aid office professionals who have day-to-day responsibilities for using EDExpress.

Self-paced training on the Web! Explains how to complete the annual Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP) for campus-based program funds. Also covers what to watch for, how to determine appropriate funding requests, how to fill out and submit the FISAP on the Web, and what happens after it is submitted.
