The Outdoor Classroom Videotape
 
A Guide for Schools and Resource Managers

This videotape provides a valuable model to assist teachers and resource managers to develop and present effective resource education activities for students at a school site, park, forest or any natural area! Follow along as students and teachers participate in a program of in-class and field activities designed by teachers and resource managers.

This videotape may be borrowed from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore at no charge. All activities were tested and evaluated by education professionals during a three-year project sponsored by Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Did You Know?
In 1992, the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore began installing photovoltaic powered well pump systems at its drive-in campgrounds. All remote water wells within the lakeshore are now solar-powered.
