In the past, former ESL students have experienced great difficulty in the nursing program because of language issues. Learning Support Services hopes to offer support to these students in the form of workshops or perhaps a one credit course offering language support in the content area. If anyone has experiences to share about offering support for ESL nursing students, I would be very pleased to receive it.
