NHEERL Career Groups

EPA Training Programs

AED Research The Student Educational Employment Program has two components: the Student Temporary Employment Program and the Student Career Experience Program. Two other opportunities for students are: the Summer Employment Program and the Student Volunteer Program. Students must be at least 16 years of age, a US citizen, and seeking a degree, certificate, or diploma in an accredited school to be eligible for federal employment.

NHEERL has an active post-doctoral fellows program. Candidates will have earned a Ph.D. in health, biological, physical, or engineering sciences. Candidates with an M.D. or D.V.M. degree with experience in conducting scientific research may also be considered.

EPA has several programs that are designed to attract talented individuals with culturally diverse backgrounds such as fellowships, grants, internships and co-operative agreements, which are described below.
