Seven Action Goals

Regional Administrator:
Alan J. Steinberg

Regional Administrator Alan J. Steinberg

On June 8, 2006, Regional Administrator Alan J. Steinberg articulated seven primary action goals for the balance of his tenure at Region 2. The seven goals encompass a wide range of agency responsibilities and their fulfillment will depend upon the continued performance and commitment of all Region 2 employees. Accomplishing these goals would mark not only a great success for EPA, but a significant increase in public safety and environmental health.

The regional administrator stresses that these seven goals represent the imperatives of his tenure, but that EPA Region 2 must continue to pursue success in all of its duties and must remain true to its original principles: protecting the air, land and water of the region and ensuring that it remains a safe and beautiful place to live, work and play. The seven goals (and links to related Web sites) follow:
