Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

No additional sizing information is given on the label. Tether is not labeled in illustrations. Labels do not explain the use of LATCH. No instructions are given for the use of the tether.
Evaluation of Instructions4 stars
Warning that the safest place is the rear seat is buried in a bulleted list. Does not remind user to tighten LATCH or tether. Names on manual/on labels do not match. Manual storage cannot be accessed when the CRS is installed in this mode of use.
Securing the Child1 stars
The harness clip is not labeled with placement instructions. The caregiver cannot access the harness adjustment system when the restraint is installed. Harness must be rethread to adjust. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to this mode of use; the caregiver must read the instructions. The harness must be taken out and rethread to disassemble the seat for cleaning. The restraint was not ready to use when removed from packaging.
Installation Features4 stars
Lower attachments require twisting to remove from the vehicle. LATCH/Tether storage system is not sufficiently labeled.
