Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

No picture of child in child restraint. Belt routing path is only labeled on one side. Labels do not explain use of LATCH.
Evaluation of Instructions4 stars
Airbag warning is not illustrated. User must read text to prepare and route LATCH belt. Child size information is separate from an illustration of a child in the restraint.
Securing the Child4 stars
Harness clip is not labeled. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to rear-facing, which must be followed in the manual.
Installation Features1 stars
May be uncomfortable for larger hands to route the belt through the path. Interference is possible between a seat component and the belt routing system. No angle feedback device is present. There are not three levels of built-in recline available. Push-button-style connectors are available for LATCH. No label to denote LATCH storage. Belt lock-off or positioning device is simple to use, but the user must refer to the manual for complete instructions.
