Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

No additional sizing information is given on the label. Tether is not labeled in illustrations. Additional harness slot height adjustment instructions are given in text only. Belt path is labeled on one side only. Labels do not explain the use of LATCH. No instructions are given for the use of the tether.

Additional sizing information is given in text only. All methods of installation are not labeled. Warning that the safest place is the rear seat is buried in a bulleted list. Manual is missing some information on how to determine vehicle seatbelt type. Caregiver must read text to install restraint with LATCH. Names on manual/on labels do not match. Manual storage cannot be accessed when the CRS is installed in this mode of use.
Securing the Child3 stars
The harness clip is not labeled with placement instructions. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to this mode of use; the caregiver must read the instructions. Loose parts are generated when disassembling for cleaning.
Installation Features3 stars
Interference is possible between a seat component and the seat belt/LATCH belt. Lower attachments require twisting to remove from the vehicle. LATCH/Tether storage system is not sufficiently labeled.
