VEGFR-2 inhibitor CT-322 (... in-HIH-bih-ter ...)

 A substance being studied in the treatment of cancer. VEGFR-2 inhibitor CT-322 prevents the growth of new blood vessels needed for tumors to grow and may kill cancer cells. It is a type of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) inhibitor and a type of angiogenesis inhibitor. Also called CT-322 and Angiocept.
