In an unprecedented legal action, NEIWPCC, on behalf of its member states, has filed a petition under the Clean Water Act asking EPA to convene a conference to develop an agreement to reduce mercury deposition in the Northeast from out-of-region sources. More information on our mercury web page.
  • NEIWPCC is seeking applicants to develop site-specific nutrient management plans for shallow coastal embayments in New York and New Jersey. Proposals are due November 21, 2008. Visit the project website to download the Request for Proposals.
  • NEIWPCC is now seeking abstracts for the 20th Annual NPS Conference to be held on May 18-20, 2009, at the Eastland Park Hotel in Portland, Maine. For more information and to submit an abstract, please visit the conference website.

  • NEIWPCC in the NEWS: NEIWPCC’s 19th Annual Nonpoint Source Pollution Conference, held May 19-21, received coverage in Business and Legal Reports.
