The vision is to ensure and promote environmental compliance in all media in collaboration with stakeholders by using data gathering and state of the art equipment.

This office is responsible for conducting air, water, hazardous waste and polychlorinated -biphenyl (PCB) inspections in support of the Region 6 Enforcement programs. The inspectors work closely with State and local inspection programs to provide training, technical assistance and guidance. Regulatory interpretations and compliance assistance efforts are made to the regulated community. The inspectors also assist individuals and communities in understanding the regulations that govern the industrial complexes in their area.

NOTE: Most inspections are made by the request of the enforcement programs of regulatory agencies only. Some responses are made at the request of the general public.
