Terraserver
This has whatever aerial photography is available from both U.S.
Geological Survey (USGS)
and US and Soviet spy sattelites, and has recently added some other contributors.
It's hit or miss, but that's the nature of the beast. USGS also has links
to specific sources of aerial photography on their site. Both these sites
are good places to start.
Farm Service Agency
Many of these offices (formerly Agricultural Stabilization Conservation
Service) have aerial photography available for successive years in agricultural
areas; many of the offices have digitized photos from more recent flyovers.

Has data on Soil Characterization Data and Keys to Soil Taxonomy

Contains a large number of links to other soils sites, as well as weather

Real-time water data
Real-time data typically are recorded at 15-60 minute intervals, stored
onsite, and then transmitted to USGS offices every 4 hours.

Team (WET)
The Wetland Ecosystem Team (WET) is a group of research faculty, staff
and students at the School of Aquatic & Fishery Sciences at the University
of Washington that conducts basic and applied research on coastal wetland
ecology.

Ramsar
Convention on Wetlands, signed in Ramsar, Iran, in 1971, is an intergovernmental
treaty which provides the framework for national action and international
cooperation for the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources.
There are presently 119 Contracting Parties to the Convention, with 1021
wetland sites, totalling 74.8 million hectares, designated for inclusion
in the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance.
Frog Watch
Frogwatch USA is a long-term frog and toad monitoring program managed
by the National Wildlife Federation in partnership with the United States
Geological Survey Patuxent Wildlife Research Center. Frogwatch USA relies
on volunteers to collect information regarding frog and toad populations
in neighborhoods across the nation.
