OSHA To Focus on Personal Health Care Facilities This Summer in Ohio
Outreach Seminars Across State Designed to Prevent Worker Injuries

CHICAGO -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is presenting a series of half-day seminars across Ohio in May and June to help operators of personal care facilities protect their workers from a variety of health- and life-threatening occupational hazards, the agency announced today.

The free seminars will provide advice and guidance on OSHA regulations and best practices in dealing with such areas as bloodborne pathogens, ergonomic hazards, workplace violence, hazard communication, lockout/tagout requirements, and recordkeeping. Registration for the seminars is requested and may be completed by sending a fax message listing the location and date of the seminar you wish to attend and the number of people attending. Fax your request to the number provided with the seminar listings below. Further information on the seminars may be obtained by calling the closest OSHA office to your area.
