The answer is plenty.  And the place to start is energysavers.gov. This Department of Energy site will help you save money while staying warm this winter.

At energysavers.gov, you'll find practical, low-cost tips for saving energy, including many things you can do yourself.  One example is to reduce air leaks. Sealing windows and doors with caulk and weather stripping can reduce leaks and save as much as 10% on your energy costs.

Start with energysavers.gov and take charge of your energy bills this winter.

At energysavers.gov, you'll find practical, low-cost tips for saving energy, including many things you can do yourself.  One example is compact fluorescent light bulbs, or CFLs. By replacing incandescent bulbs with CFLs, the average person can save up to 75% of energy used to light their home.
