Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii

Description: COALITION FOR A DRUG-FREE HAWAII Programs addressing workplace substance abuse problems in Hawaii's private sector are spearheaded by the Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii. The Coalition provides technical assistance and resource information for Hawaii businesses interested in addressing workplace substance abuse. The group recently published the first edition of "Creating a Drug-Free Workplace: Business & Industry Resource Guide." The guide includes sections on training and education resources, employee assistance programs, drug testing, and on national workplace substance abuse programs. The Hawaii Department of Health and Human Services provides funding assistance to the Coalition's efforts.
