The Madison County Chamber of Commerce established the Community Betterment Grant for the purpose of providing grants to the Madison County community for “permanent” improvements such as vertical infrastructure, beautification, renovations, repairs, etc. This program is funded annually by proceeds from the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival, and all nonprofit and for-profit businesses and organizations are eligible to receive grants.

Grant Applications are available now from the Chamber office and may be submitted, for projects to be accomplished in 2009, between August 1 and October 31 (the deadline has been extended). Grant applications will be reviewed between November 1 and January 15. Recipients will be announced at the Chamber Annual Banquet held February 14th, 2009.
