For offenders 14-17 years old, the percentage of homicides involving multiple offenders began at 26.4 in 1976 and fell to 24.5 in 1978. Then the percentage increased to 26.6 in 1979, before decreasing to 23.9 in 1980. It then increased to 35.0 in 2005.

For offenders 18-24 years old, the percentage of homicides involving multiple offenders began at 19.2 in 1976 and fell to 17.9 in 1977. Then the percentage increased to 27.7 in 2000, before decreasing to 25.1 in 2003. Then it rose to 27.7 in 2005.

For offenders 25 years old and older, the percentage of homicides involving multiple offenders began at 6.2 in 1976 and increased to 13.7 in 2005.
