For average annual rate of nonfatal intimate partner violence, the highest rate was for American Indian and Alaskan Native females at 11.1. The lowest rate was for white males at 0.8, followed by black males and Asian and Pacific Islander females at 1.4. The rates for the remaining three categories ranged from 4.0 for white females, to 5.3 for American Indian and Alaskan Native males.
