Statement by the Press Secretary

On Tuesday, April 22, 2003, the President signed into law:

H.R. 397, which extends the deadline under the Federal Power Act for the construction of a hydroelectric project in Clinton County, Illinois and;

H.R. 672, which renames the Guam South Elementary/Middle School of the Department of Defense Domestic Dependents Elementary and Secondary Schools System in honor of Navy Commander William "Willie" McCool.
