MEMPHIS: The Hope Works project is designed to provide care for the poor and homeless in Memphis. Hope Works is focused on helping the unemployed become self-directed and goal-oriented, using a model based on the Hope Program in New York. Hope Works offers a free 13-week Personal and Career Development program of employment classes and non-paying internships and graduates three classes annually. Each year students receive soft skills training and become employable.
