Description Of Services
STEVENS POINT: The Portage County Literacy Council, Inc. (PCLC) provides instruction in reading, writing, math and/or English as a second language to local adults that identify poor literacy skills as a barrier to achievement of personal goals. The PCLC strives to increase long term productivity of workers by improving their English skills. With the grant, PCLC continues their current programming with the addition of four ten-week periods of English instruction at six hours per week per year.
