Anacostia Park has many different features of potential use to teachers, including fields, wetland areas, the river, and facilities.  The education coordinator will work with your group, at the park or at your school, to facilitate or arrange a quality education experience.  Call (202) 426-6905.

Anacostia Park is a site used in the Bridging the Watershed education program for high school students.  It is also a suitable site for service learning projects on sedimentation, water quality, bird and aquatic life.

Did You Know?
Daniel Chester French's best-known work is the sculpture of a seated Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Two of his works can be found in President's Park: the Butt-Millet Fountain and the "Victory" statue on top of the First Division Monument.
