Devils Postpile National Monument
Be A Junior Ranger

During the summer months, kids can come to the Monument's Ranger Station where a Park Ranger will give them a free Junior Ranger booklet to complete.

All kinds of fun and interesting activities can be found within the pages of these Junior Ranger booklets, including drawing, word scrambles, puzzles, and writing exercises. During the summer, Park Rangers are always available to lend a helping hand with these activities.

Upon completion of the booklet, kids get to take the Junior Ranger oath with a real Park Ranger! Once sworn in, they receive an official Junior Ranger badge and certificate.

Didn't get to complete the Junior Ranger program while you were here? Send in your booklet and we'll send you your free badge and signed certificate!  Click here for our address...

Devils Postpile offers Junior Ranger booklets for two age groups.
Two Junior Ranger booklets are offered by the Monument: one for ages four to seven, the other for ages eight and up!
