Important Voter Registration Information

For Washington State Veterans And Non-Partisan Voter Registration Groups

Feeling pressure from Senator Murray and other veterans advocates, the Department of Veterans Affairs has OVERTURNED a controversial ban on voter registration efforts at VA facilities

Now that the ban has been lifted, there is simply no time to lose in registering Washington state veterans by the October 4th voter registration deadline.

County election officials and nonpartisan groups need to apply immediately at VA facilities to register veterans.  You can do so by calling your VA Voluntary Services Officer at your local VA facility.

If you are a veteran who needs help registering, please contact your County Auditor or visit:

Patty Murray for their last-minute save of the Port of Chinook's channel. The two were instrumental, thanks to a barrage of phone calls, in procuring $1.5 million to dredge the perpetually silted-in channel.
