Oakland, CA -- The Arizona Division of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have announced that the deadline for residents in the Rodeo-Chediski fire disaster area to receive free legal assistance is coming up. The telephone hotline will end on Friday, October 11, due to lower caller volume.
The referral hotline has served people who were affected by the June fires and, as a result, have difficulty with evictions, foreclosures, leases and legal notices. Volunteer lawyers from the State Bar Association have been providing the free legal services.
Calls can be placed to the hotline at 1-866-255-4495 through this Friday.
