Mother's Milk Bank of Iowa

Mission statement:

The Mother's Milk Bank of Iowa serves hospitalized infants at Children's Hospital of Iowa Special Care Nurseries and across the state. Mother’s milk bank of Iowa is part of the Division of Pediatric Nutrition at Children’s Hospital of Iowa. Since 1917, its research has focused on nutrition and growth of term and pre-term infants. To give the tiniest of babies the best possible opportunity to thrive, the Mother's Milk Bank of Iowa collects, stores, and distributes human breast milk to those who need it.
