Sec. 180.565  Thiamethoxam; tolerances for residues.

    (a) General. A tolerance is established for the combined residues of 
the insecticide thiamethoxam [3-[(2-chloro-5-
thiazolyl)methyl]tetrahydro-5-methyl-N-nitro-4H-1,3,5-oxadiazin-4-imine] 
(CAS Reg. No. 153719-23-4) and its metabolite [N-(2-chloro-thiazol-5-
ylmethyl)-N'-methyl-N'-nitro-guanidine] in or on the following raw 
agricultural commodities:

    (b) Section 18 emergency exemptions. Time-limited tolerances are 
established for the combined residues of the insecticide thiamethoxam 
[3-[(2-chloro-5-thiazolyl)methyl]tetrahydro-5-methyl-N-nitro-4H-1,3,5-
oxadiazin-4-imine] and its metabolite CGA-322704 in connection with use 
of the pesticide under section 18 emergency exemptions granted by EPA. 
These tolerances will expire and are revoked on the dates specified in 
the following table:
