For spouses/ex-spouses, the number of homicides began at 2,246 in 1976 and fell to a low of 771 in 2003. After 2003, the number rose to 817 in 2004, before falling, reaching 810 in 2005.

For parents, the number of homicides began at 378 in 1976 and fluctuates with a low of 369 as it increases to 411 in 1981. After 1981, the number decreased to a low of 241 in 2001, before rising to 271 in 2005.

For siblings, the number of homicides began at 265 in 1976 and fluctuates with a low of 225 as it increases to 328 in 1981. Then the number decreased to 118 in 2001, before increasing to 136 in 2005.

For children, the number of homicides began at 551 in 1976 and fluctuates with a low of 520 as it increases to 645 in 1991. After 1991, the number fell to 471 in 2000. Then it fluctuates with a high of 560 as it increases to 479 in 2005.

For other family members, the number of homicides began at 561 in 1976 and fluctuates with a low of 545 as it increases to 591 in 1980. After 1980, the number fell to 348 in 2000. After 2000, it fluctuates with a high of 371 as it increases to 356 in 2005.
