HUD announces 43 funding opportunities: Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives

The 2003 HUD Super Notice of Funding Availability (SuperNOFA) announces more than $2.3 billion in 43 funding opportunities. Virtually all of HUD's competitive grant programs are included in the SuperNOFA. Funds are available to State and local governments, nonprofit organizations, universities, Indian tribes and tribal entities, public and private developers and managers of affordable housing, public housing agencies and resident organizations, and graduate students in fields of interest to HUD.

HUD's Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will conduct a webcast that will allow you to:

Find out about available funding programs;

Listen to HUD staff explain the grant process;

Learn legal "Do's & Don'ts" from White House Lawyers;

Gain an understanding of the grant-writing process;

Hear from successful experts in the nonprofit arena.;

See and hear the exciting things the HUD Center is doing; and

Be part of the question and answer session.

The webcast will be live on Thursday, May 1st, 3PM - 5PM EST. To join the webcast, please visit www.hud.gov; scroll down the left side to "webcast" and then follow the links to the broadcast. After May 1st, the webcast will be available in the "archives" section of www.hud.gov.
