Federal Coordinating Officer Lesli A. Rucker joined State Coordinating Officer Adjutant Gen. Keith D. Bjerke in encouraging individuals affected by the disaster to visit the center in their area. "There are many programs available for homeowners, renters and businesses," explained Rucker. "This is a great opportunity for individuals to sit down with these different agencies and get all of their questions answered concerning the recovery process."

Individuals who have been affected by the disaster are urged to start the application process before visiting a center by calling FEMA's toll-free number at 1-800-462-9029 (TTY 1-800-462-7585 for the hearing- or speech-impaired).
