Yan Jin named Soil Science Society of America fellow
Yan Jin, professor of soil physics at UD, has been named a fellow of the Soil Science Society of America. Fellow is the highest recognition bestowed by the Society on its members.

Sociologist Tricia Wachtendorf, associate director of UD's Disaster Research Center, spent two weeks in China studying the quake's impact on communities and society.
