National Resource Center on AD/HD CHADD

Mission statement:

The NRC aims to expand knowledge and understanding of issues related to AD/HD, such as access to and quality of health care, treatment and interventions, education, parenting, life management skills, relationships, workplace challenges, co-occurring conditions, gender issues, and the legal system; and raising public awareness about AD/HD through outreach and the dissemination of information. Highly trained Information Specialists are available, via telephone or the website, to respond to inquiries related to AD/HD. A bilingual information specialist is also available to respond to inquiries in Spanish. We do not provide counseling, medical or legal advice, or give referrals to professionals who specialize in the diagnosis or treatment of AD/HD (e.g. pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists).
