National Partnership for Smoke-Free Families

Mission statement:

The mission of the National Partnership to Help Pregnant Mothers Quit is multipronged: to ensure that all pregnant women in the United States will be screened for tobacco use; that all pregnant and postpartum smokers will receive best-practice cessation counseling as part of their usual care by 2005; and to reduce the prevalence of smoking during pregnancy to two percent or less by 2010.
