A second chance at life is our first priority
Doctors caution against using the term "miracle" in connection with stem cell transplant (SCT). However, few would argue that the advances in the transplant procedure have been no less than miraculous. Still, the idea of a transplant is overwhelming and understandably scary. It is recommended only to patients with serious conditions, and it alters life drastically.

This site is designed to help patients, their caregivers and families understand and deal with the emotional and practical aspects of transplants and post-transplant concerns. Please don't search it for medical advice - that's strictly between you and your doctors. What you will find here are answers to common questions, an enormous amount of information and support, and links to other useful web resources. Browse through or download any of nbmtLINK's original publications, e-mail our professional medical librarian with questions about your search, and always feel free to contact us directly at 1-800-LINK-BMT (800-546-5268).
