Women's Health Task Force

Mission statement:

The Women’s Health Task Force is one of a number of task forces of the National Council of Women’s Organizations. The NCWO’s task forces bring together the leading women’s experts for strategy and policy discussions in order to identify and enable opportunities for the groups to work together to advance specific issues. Founded in October of 2006, the Women’s Health Task Force is made up of representatives from NCWO member organizations. The Task Force’s initial focus has been on educational and legislative issues regarding cervical cancer prevention. The WHTF plans to expand its efforts to address other health areas in the near future.
